On Saturday May 23, 2026 Olney Fire Department spent the day training on fire suppression, fire ground tactics, pump operations and fire ground communication during our quarterly SCBA training. While these tasks may seem simple we take nothing for granted and work diligently to perfect our skills day in and day out. We believe our citizens deserve the absolute best when the need arises, therefore we train for the worst!! Thank you to our members for their dedication and time.

We wish everyone a good Sunday morning. In today's truck check, we are featuring our Side by Side unit and our Rescue vehicle.

The Side by Side is outfitted with a skid unit for firefighting and is also configured for rescue operations to transport victims in challenging terrain.

The Rescue vehicle was upgraded last year with a larger bed, increasing its capacity to serve the community.
