Are you passionate about recovery, collaboration, and community change? Our Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC) is seeking a ROSC Coordinator to help lead and strengthen recovery efforts across Richland County.
This is a leadership role for someone who believes recovery is possible, values all pathways to recovery, and is ready to bring people together to create lasting systems of support.
💡 What You’ll Do
• Support and strengthen the ROSC Council through leadership and coordination
• Help assess community needs and implement recovery-focused initiatives
• Bring together community partners, service providers, and stakeholders
• Serve as a grassroots organizer and recovery advocate
• Represent the agency at local, county, and state levels
• Promote collaboration, innovation, and recovery-oriented systems
✅ Who We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or GED (college degree optional)
• 2+ years of sustained recovery (if applicable)
• Age 21 or older with reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer-proficient, organized, and dependable
• Open-minded, forward-thinking, and recovery-focused
• Able to model a recovery-oriented philosophy
• People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
• Preference given to Richland County residents
📍 Position Details
• Hybrid 1099 contract position (no benefits)
• Combination of work-from-home, office days, and community outreach
• Regular presence in the Richland County Detention Center, TB & Public Health Office, and throughout the community
🎓 Certification
• CPRS preferred
• CPRS required within one year (training available)
