Christians In Action (CIA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been in existence for over 20 years serving the less fortunate in the Olmsted Falls and Olmsted Township community. We offer help as our response to Christ’s love for us and His command to serve others. CIA began with one individual’s vision of helping the needy and has grown into an organization that assists over 1,000 families annually. Assistance available through CIA includes food, utility shutoff assistance, school supplies and other items that are on an “as needed basis”. Some of the help provided is one-time emergency assistance and some is ongoing support. Those who qualify can receive non-perishable groceries once a month. Special distributions are also prepared for the holidays. Food and financial assistance are donated by local churches, schools, businesses, service agencies and residents. Christians In Action does require that those it serves be current residents of Olmsted Falls or Olmsted Township, or be a verifiable member of a church within Olmsted Falls or the Olmsted Township Community, and meet our Financial Eligibility Requirements.
