Friday Fun-day! We read a sweet book, The Kissing Hand- it’s a favorite in kinder… about a raccoon who misses mama while at school! Then we got the chance to be artists…. the kinder teachers led our friends in a directed drawing of Chester the Racoon- we were very impressed, especially for our first time! 🦝

You should ask your kinder to retell the story to you- & they may even want their own kissing hand before school next week! 💜

A BIG “thank you” to one of our sweet friends, Beau & his mom & dad! They were so kind to purchase & donate new sand and sand toys for our sand table on our playground! Your generous heart means so much to our school & especially to our kinders! Our sand table is a favorite on the playground & we are so thankful for y’all filling it back up for everyone to enjoy! Friendship sushi was on the menu Friday!!! 🍣 🍱 We talked all week about being a family & loving & taking care of each other. We ended the week with our first cooking activity…. special friendship sushi- it was so yummy! We are going to be a good friend, stick together, celebrate our differences, always try even when things are hard & be the best kinder friends this year!! ❤️ After all, 5-6 year old friendships are the sweetest! 🦉 💜 🐼
