Community safe rooms will open across the county this afternoon due to the threat of severe weather.

Community safe rooms are open to anyone who feels more comfortable taking shelter pre storm in a safe room instead of their home.

This is not for residents to drive to at the issuance of a warning.

After years of faithful service battling brush fires, navigating tough terrain, and protecting our community in those hard-to-reach spots, it's time to say goodbye to our trusty old brush truck. This rig has seen countless wildland call and late-night responses. She's earned her retirement with honor! Thank you for the memories and the fires you've helped us knock down. 💪🔥
Today, we're proud to officially put our brand-new brush truck into service! Equipped with updated features, better off-road capability, and all the tools our firefighters need to stay safe and effective out there.
To our members who worked hard to make this upgrade happen, to our supporters and to everyone who keeps our department running—thank you! We're stronger and more ready than ever.
