Republicans, we may align with Maria's ideology on masks, vaccines, and may be very concerned with the direction CRT is going... but she will only bring harm to our party. Maria has accused (on numerous occasions) that our current school board lacks transparency while she herself is maintaining and operating a PRIVATE Oley School Board group. She expects transparency of others but is unwilling to be transparent herself.
If you disagree with her, she will attack you and eventually boot you out of the group. Typically candidates put their best foot forward during an election. If this is her best 'unelected' what can we expect if she gets elected?
Intelligent, well spoken, respectful community members are no longer welcome when they ask her too many questions on her community FB page.
As you can see most recently, (below) she has told a concerned citizen that she can “join the SOB group” She continually spells SOS as SOB and those letters are no where near on the keyboard, which leads one to believe that this is not a typographical error but instead done on purpose. She is labeling an entire group of people - most of whom she does not know. She claims to be a Christian and quotes the bible when it suits her…. But her actions and treatment others do not reflect the Christians I know
Instead of being concerned about the safety of students in our district here are some of her posts this morning…
What is dangerous, among many other things, is that she is misdirecting members of the group to believe that the post came from a someone in Union Township or is entirely fake. Her investigation skills are limited, as you can see others easily found the true identity of the poster. It should be concerning to every single community member that she is reckless when it comes to personal private individuals identity and information. What will she do when she has potential access to student information?
She is unhealthily obsessed with her opponent who she believes created the SOS page.
In one of the quotes she is telling residents to keep in mind the threat against our school is most likely fake.
When she finds out it is not fake, she then accuses the school of not doing enough and we should be virtual.
Is this someone you want to have a role in keeping children safe?
Remember -- She was against the secure door entry systems. Don’t we all feel a little safer now knowing we have that additional layer of protection?
If she was on the school board prior, we may not have that protection. Those doors act as a deterrent. When criminals know that there is a two step process to get into a school they are less likely to try to breech the system.
This is Maria’s response to our school district doing the right thing and contacting the police. The police provide guidance to the school. She, who knows nothing of the situation, is making judgements based on no facts. This is a huge red flag.
Vote for anyone but Maria.
