MOBILE PERMITTING THIS SATURDAY
For Those Impacted by Hurricanes Helene & Milton
City staff will be at the Oldsmar Public Library, 400 St. Petersburg Dr E., Sat, June 20, 1:30-4p / Sat, June 27, 10a-4p to assist with applying for After the Fact Permits. As a reminder, late fees for qualifying After the Fact Permits are waived through Tues, June 30, 2026, to help those impacted move forward with projects.

Why get your After the Fact Permit? Protection: Make sure repairs meet safety & floodplain standards. Insurance Savings: Keep Oldsmar's 25% flood insurance discount. Be Eligible: Compliance is required for People First grants - up to $50k in repair reimbursements.

Approved: Essential Terms of Proposed Development Agreement for City Hall site, directed City Manager to host three open houses / Adopted: Ord 2026-08 regarding operation of golf carts on park roads, within park parking lots; Res 2026-12 revising City’s Personnel Policy & Procedure Manual; Res 2026-13, 2025 Concurrency Test Statement; Res 2026-15 revising FY 25-26 budget & approve new pay plan, position grade assignments

Hanging VOGs!

Local Cadette Girl Scouts working on their Silver Award Project teamed up with the City of Oldsmar at the R.E. Olds Park Pier to replace the Vertical Oyster Gardens (VOGs) damaged during recent hurricanes.

With help from Oldsmar's Environmental Team, the new VOGs are helping filter water, improve clarity, and provide habitat for marine life.
