Today, the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association joins communities across Indiana in mourning the heartbreaking loss of Lynn Town Marshal Brad Fisher, and IVFA member, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving and protecting his community.
Marshal Fisher answered the call with courage, honor, and an unwavering commitment to the people he served. His sacrifice is a solemn reminder that every first responder—whether law enforcement, fire, EMS, or dispatch—accepts tremendous risks each time they put on the uniform.
As members of the public safety family, we stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in law enforcement during this difficult time. We offer our deepest condolences to Marshal Fisher’s family, the Town of Lynn, his fellow officers, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Now, more than ever, let us come together to support those who continue to serve our communities with dedication and selflessness. We ask everyone to keep all law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and dispatchers in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to answer the call each day.
Rest easy, Marshal Brad Fisher. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
