Our Fall Craft Swap is officially underway at Old Town Public Library!
We already had some goodies left over from our last swap, and new donations are starting to come in, which means there are craft supplies ready to swap right now! 👀

Have yarn, fabric, paper goods, craft tools, kits, or other supplies you’re no longer using? Bring them in and give them a second life. While you’re here, take a look through the stash and see if something inspires your next project!

♻️ Bring what you don’t need. Take something you’ll use. Get crafty!

Donations should be clean, usable, and in good condition, please.
And yes... there is already a lot of yarn. 🧶😂

📣 New month, new look and new programs at Old Town Public Library!

🍂 Our Take + Make series is getting cozy for fall! This month, create your own Fall Embroidery Hoop Art, a fun seasonal project perfect for adding a little handmade autumn charm to your home. Pick up a take-home kit while supplies last!

📖 September Crafternoon is DIY Faux Stained Glass Bookmarks! Create a colorful stained-glass-inspired bookmark that's almost as pretty as the books you'll tuck it into. Join us at the library for an afternoon of crafting and creativity!

🎨 Club Library is back! We're kicking off another year of after-school fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with activities, crafts, games, and plenty of opportunities to hang out and get creative at the library.

🧶 September marks the beginning of our Fall Craft Swap! Bring in new or gently used craft supplies you no longer need and swap them for something new-to-you. It's the perfect excuse to clean out that craft stash and find inspiration for your next project!

📚 Our monthly book clubs continue all month long with something for every kind of reader. Whether you enjoy mysteries, horror, cozy fiction, or literary discussions, we'd love to have you join us!

⚾ Tuesday Forum returns this September! We're welcoming Chris Boucher to discuss his book and the fascinating story of Louis Sockalexis, Harry "Bucky" Lew, and their connections to the integration of professional sports.

🎉 New at Old Town Public Library... Wonderbooks! 🎧📚
We're excited to announce that our new Wonderbooks have officially arrived in our Children's Room!

Wonderbooks are books with a built-in audiobook, so kids can listen and read along at the same time. They're a wonderful way to build reading confidence, strengthen vocabulary, and make storytime even more engaging for independent readers and families alike.

Just pick a book, press play, and start reading!
