Russell Vought is Donald Trump’s architect for the Oligarchy. As CBO Director, his goal will be to make the very rich even richer by dismantling critical government programs that deliver for America’s working class, like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Meals on Wheels, Head Start, and many others. Under Vought, those "savings" will then be used to provide huge tax breaks to Elon Musk and other billionaires.

On Thursday, the Senate will vote on Mr. Vought’s nomination to be confirmed to the White House Office of Management and Budget. I’m asking you to call your Senators via the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-2131 and demand that they vote NO.

Vought is a right-wing extremist who was a lead author of Project 2025. Along with Elon Musk, he is responsible for the recent White House order attempting to freeze all federal assistance, including Medicaid funding, and rip apart the federal workforce. When Vought worked in Congress, he repeatedly drafted plans to drastically cut Medicare, and during the first Trump administration as his budget chief, he drafted budgets that cut Social Security. Vought also wants to outlaw medication abortion nationwide. And just a few days ago, he stated that the 2020 election was “rigged” and did not believe in the outcome.

I’m going to do everything I can to encourage my fellow Senate colleagues to oppose Mr. Vought’s nomination. Please help us by taking action, calling your Senators via the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-2131, and demanding that they vote no on Russell Vought.

Urgent for Monday 3/18 if you care about preserving open space in our communities and want a say regarding the large number of housing that our towns are being subject to:

I was just notified that the controversial affordable housing bill is said to be rushed through without fair input from conservation groups in municipalities is back on the agenda in Trenton tomorrow as S-50. People are being encouraged to call and/or email, their legislators and ask for them to pull it from the agenda and give more time for input or vote no on it.

Praying for 2024 to bring love and peace to our world

With the horrific tragedies and violence propagating throughout the world, I feel such a strong overwhelm to pray for peace.

Found this online , to put it out to the universe, and my fb friends, in the hopes of saving lives and creating a unified, loving world conscious.

Empower our leaders to choose diplomacy over conflict, cooperation over competition. May the pursuit of global harmony guide their decisions, and the well-being of all people be their ultimate goal. In the halls of diplomacy, may empathy and collaboration replace animosity and confrontation. Let the pursuit of peace among nations be a testament to our collective commitment to a brighter future for humanity.

The destruction of the forest (and historic property) at 244 old tappan road is going to the courts soon.
Very important to show support to mayor Gallagher ,who with 4 other members of town council, overturned the proposed development which required major variances for a larger project then allowed by municipal laws.
Please contact the new mayor and council to take appropriate actions to save old tappan’s last open spaces and trees before it’s too late. Don’t wait to make contact AFTER you drive by and see the property completely deforested.

Beautiful fall colors show in all our green ‘open’ spaces. Imagine over 200-400 trees at 244 old tappan rd all clear cut and gone if no one cares.
