🚓 A Big Thank You to Our Local Students! 🚓

The Old Saybrook Department of Police Services would like to extend a special thank you to Keegan Dobratz and all of the students who joined him for the “Wash the Fleet” community service project!

Keegan took the initiative to reach out to the Police Department with the idea of helping wash our police vehicles while earning volunteer service hours.

Thanks to Keegan and his friends, our fleet received a much-needed cleaning—and, more importantly, we had the opportunity to see our local youth giving back to their community.

🚨 It has come to our attention that some e-bikes appear to be operating on a new set of traffic laws…

Unfortunately, those laws haven’t been approved by the State of Connecticut. 😄

Here’s your friendly reminder that the attached flyer is still very much in effect. If you’ve already read it—great! Now it’s time to follow it.

Parents, please take a minute to go over it with your riders. A quick conversation today can prevent a traffic stop—or worse—tomorrow.
