The Nancy Larson Foundation proudly supports students majoring in elementary education across the country by awarding scholarships to deserving students each year.
The five recipients selected from the hundreds of applications received by the foundation include:
Fallon Warshauer – Vanderbilt University
Fayth Dean – University of Nevada
Jackie Mundis – Brandeis University
Jazmyne Griffith – Liberty University
Nadia Hernandez-Ruelas – San Diego State University
“These students are the type of aspiring teachers that we want to encourage and support. Our classrooms need diverse, intelligent, energetic, young educators that can provide the best possible learning environment for elementary students,” said Nancy Larson, who established the foundation in 2006. Nancy is the author of two nationally successful curriculum programs: Nancy Larson® Science K–5 and Saxon Math K–4.
