RAIN OR SHINE, we will move indoors if needed. Followed by the popular Lyme Street Music Stroll!

June 21st is Make Music Day in Connecticut, and we’ll kick off the Old Lyme festivities with a family concert featuring the popular band Sunny Train in LYSB’s back yard. After the concert explore Make Music Old Lyme with activities up and down Lyme Street including food, fun, and lots and lots of music!

Make Music Old Lyme is an initiative of Old Lyme Arts District

We still have a few spots left in our BOLD summer camps! BOLD (Boys Outdoor Leadership Program) is designed for adventurous Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School boys to learn leadership, respect, listening and teamwork. We will participate in activities such as ROPES, paddle boarding, open space hike, and more adventures on Land and Sea. We will meet at a different location each day. Thank you to Essex Bank for selecting LYSB as a recipient of its 2026 Pop-Up Grant Program! As Essex Bank celebrates its 175th anniversary, we are honored to receive a donation of $1,851—a meaningful tribute to the bank’s founding year of 1851. We are grateful for Essex Bank’s investment in our community and their long-standing commitment to supporting local nonprofits.

Our May pop-up grant recipient was Lyme Youth Service Bureau! We're thrilled to support them as they support Lyme families.

Today is the final day of the Youth Art Show! 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at LYSB (59 Lyme Street). The show features artwork from more than 150 students K-12 of Lyme -Old Lyme Schools. Stop by and you will be amazed by the talent of our students. We are so lucky to have such talented and inspirational art teachers in our schools who have established an outstanding art program for our community.

The LYSB Youth Art Show opens today! Join us for our Opening Reception from 4–6 PM at LYSB (59 Lyme Street). Now celebrating 40 years, the Youth Art Show features artwork from more than 150 students in grades K–12 and brings together youth, creativity, and community. Open to all — come celebrate the incredible creativity of our youth with us.
