The Mayor and City Council are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Councilman Gene Barton Jr. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Although his service on the council was brief, he was appreciated for his willingness to serve the community and for the time he dedicated to the people of Okolona. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who mourn his passing.

2. Request for a Police Officer/ Animal Control to pick up a stray dog. Give name and address.

3. Police Officer/Animal Control complete report.

4. Citation is issued to owner.
