The Okmulgee County Election Board is a government entity that maintains all voter registration records, conducts all county, city, and school candidate filings, conducts state and local elections set by Oklahoma Statute Title 26, and operates under the Oklahoma State Election Board. We have received several calls regarding campaign activity near polling locations.

Please remember that electioneering is not permitted within the designated red-circle area surrounding the polling place. This restricted zone is established to ensure voters can enter and exit the polling location without interference or campaigning.

Campaign signs, solicitation, distribution of campaign materials, and other electioneering activities must remain outside the marked restricted area.

Oklahoma primary elections are closed primaries for the 2026 and 2027 calendar years. Voters may only participate in the primary election of the political party with which they are registered. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. today, June 16, 2026. All 25 polling locations in Okmulgee County are open and ready to serve voters.

Visit the Oklahoma Voter Portal to view your sample ballot and find your polling location before heading to the polls.

✅ Remember: Voters who are in line by 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to cast their ballot.

📌 Voter Identification Requirements
Voters must present one form of approved identification:
• Photo State of Oklahoma ID
• Photo United States Government ID
• Photo Federally Recognized Tribal Government ID
• Voter Identification Card issued by the County Election Board

📬 Today, June 15, 2026, is the last day to hand-deliver your absentee (mail) ballot to the Okmulgee County Election Board.

✅ You must show a valid ID when delivering your ballot.
✅ You may only hand-deliver your own ballot.
✅ Your ballot must be sealed in the official election materials envelope. If you have misplaced the envelope, the Election Board can provide a replacement.

Okmulgee County Voters who have requested an absentee ballot by mail can hand-deliver their own ballot to the Okmulgee County Election Office, 314 W. 7th Street, Okmulgee.

The last day to hand-deliver absentee ballots by mail is Monday, June 15, by 4:30 p.m.

Mail ballots must be in the hands of election board staff by Tuesday, June 16, 7:00 p.m.
