At Head Start, we know that everyday experiences help children build important skills that support their growth and development.

🗣️ Communication: Talking, listening, asking questions and telling stories.
🏃 Motor skills: Running, jumping, drawing, building and using their hands and fingers.
🤝 Social skills: Sharing, cooperating, making friends and working with others.
🧩 Problem-solving: Figuring out how things work and finding solutions.
💛 Self-regulation: Learning to manage feelings, wait, take turns and calm down.

Learning does not always look like sitting at a desk. It can look like building a tower, playing pretend or learning how to zip a coat.

At Head Start, every day is an opportunity to learn, grow and build new skills.

RX For Oklahoma helps families enrolled in our Head Start and early childhood programs access free or low-cost prescriptions when cost is a barrier to health and stability.

The program is for uninsured or under-insured Oklahomans who need help covering essential long-term medications, such as insulin, blood pressure medications or asthma inhalers.
