Moving millions of bushels of grain in a matter of weeks is a massive logistical puzzle. 🧩🏢

Your local co-op managers, scale ticket operators, and dump pit crews are the unsung heroes of the summer harvest.

They are working incredibly long days in the intense Oklahoma heat.

Their only goal is to keep the line of trucks moving so that your combines never have to sit idle in the field.

When the local elevator runs efficiently, the entire agricultural supply chain thrives.

Next time you pull onto the scale, give your elevator crew a wave. Tag your favorite scalehouse operator in the comments to say thank you for their hard work this week! 🤝

The wait is over, and the 2026 Oklahoma wheat harvest has officially begun! 🌾

For the last eleven months, you have planted, sprayed, scouted, and prayed over this crop.

Now, it is finally time to reap the rewards of that hard work.

Across the state, combines are firing up and cutting into the first golden fields of the summer.

At the exact same time, your local cooperative elevators are running at maximum capacity to ensure your trucks get in, get weighed, and get back to the field without delay.

This is the ultimate partnership between the producer and the cooperative.

Who is making their first cut today? Drop your county and your early yield estimates in the comments below! 👇

The final gavel has officially dropped on the 2026 Legislative Session! 🏛️✅

As May comes to a close, so does the regular session at the Oklahoma State Capitol.

For the last four months, OACC has been on the ground every single day, tracking bills, testifying in committees, and ensuring that no legislation passes without considering the rural supply chain. From tax policy to infrastructure funding, your cooperative network made sure your voice was loud and clear in the halls of government.

We just published our complete 2026 Legislative Wrap-Up! Hit the link in our bio to see exactly how we protected the cooperative business model this year.

It is the calm before the golden storm. 🌾🚜

The headers are attached. The grease fittings are full. The grain carts are staged. At cooperative elevators across the state, the dump pits are empty and waiting.

The 2026 Oklahoma Wheat Harvest is officially knocking on the door. This is what we prep all year for. Long days, short nights, and absolute teamwork between the producer and the cooperative.

Who is putting the first sickle into the field this week? Tag your custom harvesting crew or your farm team below and let's get rolling!

Today, the tractors pause. 🇺🇸

Rural communities have always been the first to raise their hands and send their sons and daughters to defend this nation.

This Memorial Day, the Oklahoma Agricultural Cooperative Council honors and remembers the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Because of them, we have the liberty to farm our land and raise our families in peace.

An extra 60 seconds of patience on the highway could save a life this week. 🛑🚜

As we push toward the end of May, county roads and highways are going to be heavily congested with slow-moving tractors, massive combines, and wide implements moving between fields.

We know everyone is in a rush, but please slow down. Do not pass heavy machinery on a hill or a curve, and watch for unexpected wide turns.

Share this post to your feed to remind your non-agriculture friends to be patient on the roads this summer! Let's get everyone home safe.

Growing the crop is only half the battle. Selling it at the right time is the other. 📈🌾

As the combines get prepped and the grain carts get greased for the upcoming wheat harvest, it is time to finalize your grain marketing strategy. Navigating volatile cash bids, forward contracts, and changing basis levels can feel like a full-time job—which is exactly why your local cooperative has dedicated Grain Merchandisers on staff.

Our merchandisers watch the global markets by the minute. They are here to help you lock in profitable margins, spread out your risk, and make the smartest financial decisions for your farm's bottom line. You don't have to navigate the commodity markets alone.

Don't wait until your trucks are already sitting in line at the elevator. Stop by your local co-op this week, grab a cup of coffee, and run through your harvest marketing plan with your merchandiser! ☕🤝

You cannot run cutting-edge 2026 farming technology on a 1990s internet connection. 📶

Modern agriculture is driven by data. Our producers and agronomists rely on satellite mapping, real-time soil data, and variable-rate technology to maximize yields and protect the environment.

But none of that works without reliable rural broadband. At OACC, we are constantly advocating at the State Capitol to bring high-speed internet infrastructure directly to the last mile of rural Oklahoma.

Does your farm still struggle with cell service or internet connectivity? Let us know your experience in the comments—your stories help us advocate better!

Where’s the beef? Right here in Oklahoma! 🥩

Did you know May is National Beef Month? While we talk a lot about crops, Oklahoma is a massive powerhouse in the cattle industry.

Local cooperatives are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our ranchers. Whether it is formulating custom livestock nutrition plans, supplying fencing materials, or offering vital animal health products, your co-op is here to ensure your herd thrives from pasture to plate.

We have to ask to settle a debate: Ribeye or Filet? Drop your favorite cut of Oklahoma beef in the comments! 🥩🔥

The future of agriculture just walked out of the classroom and into the dirt. 🌾🎒

It’s mid-May, which means college semesters are officially wrapping up and summer interns are arriving at cooperatives all across Oklahoma!

These bright students are stepping into the field to learn precision agronomy, grain merchandising, and agricultural finance from the best in the business.

We aren't just giving them a summer job; we are giving them a pipeline to high-paying STEM careers right here in rural Oklahoma.

Let's welcome the next generation! If you could give one piece of advice to a young ag professional, what would it be?

Drop it in the comments!
