Thank you to everyone who joined us for LifeShare's 40th Anniversary Celebration. It was a meaningful evening spent honoring donor heroes, reflecting on the lives impacted through organ, eye and tissue donation, and looking ahead to the future of our mission.

We are especially grateful to our Legacy Sponsor, Global Transplant Solutions, whose generosity helped make this celebration possible.

Forty years ago today, a vision of hope took root in Oklahoma. On June 10, 1986, the Oklahoma Organ Sharing Network was incorporated, beginning a journey that would save lives, restore sight and create lasting legacies.

Over the past four decades, we've seen new names, new innovations, and countless stories of generosity and healing. As we celebrate 40 years of saving lives and inspiring hope, we look ahead to a future made possible by the selfless gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.

To every donor hero, donor family, recipient, volunteer, advocate and supporter—thank you for being part of this incredible legacy. 💙

Braxton had a heart for everyone around him. An athlete who loved baseball, football and basketball, he was known just as much for his sweet soul as his competitive spirit. He always had a smile on his face, and you could never walk by him without getting a hug. When Braxton became an organ donor, his legacy of love continued through the lives he saved.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re highlighting Robin, our Aftercare Coordinator, who helps donor families navigate grief with care, connection, and the right resources.

Because behind every donor hero is a family learning to carry love and loss at the same time.

On , we honor the individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Corporal Benjamin S. Kopp, a member of the 75th Army Ranger Regiment, saved six of his comrades when his unit came under attack in Afghanistan. He was mortally wounded and saved four more lives back in the United States through his selfless gift of organ donation. To honor Corporal Kopp and all other brave soldiers who became organ, eye and tissue donors, the Fallen Soldier statue stands at the National Donor Memorial and honors members of our military who made organ, eye, and tissue donation their last courageous act of service. The site is a place of peace for all who wish to honor the gift of life! 💙💚
