Another great opportunity in the City's Municipal Counselor's Office. An Assistant Municipal Counselor II is a mid-level position that provides legal service and guidance to the City, its officers, departments and trusts to ensure that all City operations are performed in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal and state laws and City ordinances.

This position is housed in the Criminal Justice Division and will be primarily responsible for responding to Open Records Act requests, petitions for expungement, property disposition, criminal nuisance abatement and misdemeanor prosecution.

The City is hiring an Assistant Municipal Counselor. The position is located in the Office of the Municipal Counselor – Trusts and Public Works Division and will be hired in as either an Assistant Municipal Counselor I, II or III, depending on experience and qualifications. The selected applicant will provide legal services and guidance to the Department of Airports and the Oklahoma City Airport Trust (“OCAT”) to ensure the three airports in OCAT’s airport system are operated in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal and state laws or regulations, and City ordinances.
