The NSO's Good Samaritan Awards at the end of April brought together community-minded individuals committed to making Oklahoma City a better place for all neighbors. The afternoon was a wonderful reminder of the depth of generosity across Oklahoma City.

Congratulations to all of this year's honorees, including power couple Bill and Sherri Lance, trailblazer Dr. Gloria Griffin, and even Inasmuch Foundation's own Sarah Roberts! Honorees were recognized for decades of humble, hands-on service across public education, nonprofit leadership, and community philanthropy, and Dr. Griffin was presented with the 2026 Sam Bowman Legacy Award, a special honor recognizing her lifelong commitment to mentorship.

Inasmuch Foundation is grateful to Neighborhood Services Organization for the work they do and for creating space to celebrate good samaritans.

Earlier this year, OKC service providers conducted the annual Point in Time Count, a one-day census of people experiencing homelessness. The results were recently released, and for the first time in several years, the number of people experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City declined from the prior year, even as the city's overall population continues to grow.

These results are a testament to the work of Key to Home OKC and the power of sustained investment in community-driven solutions.
