Jesus House, Inc

Jesus House, Inc Free recovery, shelter, and support for people rebuilding their lives in OKC—rooted in faith and the 12 steps; fueled by compassion.

We are a dual-mission organization that offers a residential, addiction-recovery program, as well as hot meals and clothing for our homeless and low-income neighbors. Using the love of Jesus Christ as our example, our team of dedicated staff, volunteers, and addiction recovery clients serve the least, lost, and left behind in our community. We're here to lend a hand and help transform lives. In 2019, your donations provided 134,000 meals to the community, 12,000 food baskets to families in need, and supported 37 addiction recovery graduates!

A stronger community starts with transformed lives.

A new Jesus House campus means more opportunities for people to find lasting recovery—and become healthy, productive members of our community.

Recovery changes families, strengthens neighborhoods, and builds healthier communities. Every person who leaves Jesus House with stable housing, meaningful employment, and sustained recovery represents another life transformed and another success story for Oklahoma City.

More recovery. More second chances. More good things for our community.

A NEW CAMPUS. A BIGGER MISSION. A STRONGER COMMUNITY.

The Oklahoma City Zoning Commission has approved the proposed move of Jesus House to the former Sleep Inn—and now, the project heads to the Oklahoma City Council for a September 15 vote.

If approved, Jesus House will renovate the property into a new recovery campus, creating more space for people committed to long-term recovery and rebuilding their lives.

But this is about more than a new building. It’s about revitalizing a blighted area, creating good citizens and taxpayers, and building a safer, stronger community. Recovery changes lives—and those lives change families, neighborhoods and Oklahoma City.

A new campus. A stronger path to recovery.

The expanded Jesus House campus will provide more residential space, dedicated programming areas, and improved facilities to support every stage of the recovery journey—from admission to independent living.

With extensive interior renovations and a complete exterior transformation, we’re creating a welcoming campus built specifically for long-term residential recovery.

More space. More support. More opportunity for lasting transformation.

A new home means a bigger mission.

With a favorable Oklahoma City Council vote on rezoning, Jesus House will move to 5200 Classen Circle in Northwest OKC—giving us the space to focus on long-term recovery and expand programming for residents.

The new campus will allow us to house nearly twice as many residents and help more Oklahomans rebuild their lives.

A new home. More space. More recovery. More lives transformed.

SPUD-1839 is about more than Jesus House and a new building.

Jesus House clearly needs a new facility that is not crumbling around them, but SPUD-1839 is about how Oklahoma City shows up for people in recovery.

SPUD-1839 tells the recovery community that Oklahoma City believes recovery is possible and that people deserve the change to recovery with dignity and respect.

If you support the recovery community and want Oklahoma City to do the same, please add your signature to let city leaders know that people in recovery deserve to be a vital part of our city.

We are NOT a homeless shelter

We do NOT accept individuals with violent or sexual offense histories

We're a structured, long-term residential recovery program with an application process.

This Sept 15 vote determines how OKC supports recovery for YEARS to come. We need a new facility to continue to treat Oklahomans who are looking to change their lives.
