🎉 What a joy to celebrate another family grown through the gift of adoption! Their story is a beautiful reminder that the Lord cares about every single detail of our lives.

Through their journey, this family witnessed God doing the things only He can do. They saw His handiwork in each season. His peace in the waiting, His joy in the placement, and His sovereignty and provision when their adoption finalized.

Their encouragement to anyone considering adoption, or walking through a season they didn’t expect, is simple and powerful: put your “Yes” on God’s table. Trust that He can handle your doubts and fears. We all have things in our lives we can point to and say, 👉 “this is because of God.” Remind yourself of those moments often and stand on the truth that He won’t stop being faithful now.

Today, we celebrate this precious family and the faithful God who has written their story.

Meet Jarrod and Hannah—a couple whose love for each other and their son shines through in everything they do. 💚

Hannah is the best mommy. She's selfless, loving, and nurturing, and Jarrod can't wait to watch her embrace those same qualities with another child. Jarrod is a wonderful, dedicated father who's always helping their son grow and learn, while making time to play and simply enjoy life together. 👨‍👩‍👦

One of their favorite traditions? Traveling! Each year they take a special trip around their son's birthday, and they're so excited to share new adventures with another little one someday. ✈️

Jarrod and Hannah felt led to adoption through prayer and their faith, and they're waiting with open, hopeful hearts.

💙 At DPA, our care doesn't end on placement day — it lasts a lifetime.

For adoptive families, that lifelong care often looks like connection. It's a night out at Main Event 🕹️, a fall hayride 🍂, a family picnic with face painting 🎨, cheering together at an OKC baseball game ⚾, or celebrating the families who placed in the past year 🎂. These moments throughout the years remind us that no family walks this journey alone.

Some stories can only be described as evidence of God's faithfulness.

This one began back in the late 80's when a young girl found out she was pregnant. ⏩ Fast forward 21 years to DPA helping facilitate a reunion between a college student, Claire, and her birth mother, Tonya. What followed over the next 16+ years is a story of forgiveness, restoration, and a connection that has only grown deeper with time.

We don't want to give too much away, because this story deserves to be told in full.

Claire and Tonya's journey — along with the family woven around them — will be featured at the 2026 DPA Gala on August 27. Make sure to mark your calendar and be on the lookout for when tickets are available. 🎟️

Until then, take a moment to look at these photos. A birth mother. A daughter. A family. All held together by love and grace. 💗

1️⃣ Learn about all your options - knowledge is where clarity begins.
2️⃣ Write down the pros and cons of each.
3️⃣ Talk to someone who has actually been in your shoes.
4️⃣ Give yourself permission to pause and process.
5️⃣ You don’t have to do this alone. Asking for support is a strength.
