We recently hosted a two-day World Breastfeeding Week Community Event with one day in Spanish and one in English, during the first week of August, to support and celebrate breastfeeding families.
From an educational session on this year’s theme, “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works,” to our Panel of Professionals sharing real experiences and answering questions, families left feeling informed and encouraged.
We were proud to partner with community organizations like Family Expectations, Parent Promise, La Leche League, Safe Kids, the Milk Bank, and local doulas to connect families with valuable resources.
Attendees enjoyed raffles & giveaways including zoo tickets, the new edition of La Leche League's "The Art of Breastfeeding" book ,doula support and a car seat! Attendees also received gift bags filled with breastfeeding resources and baby essentials!
