Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma DDCO helps families & individuals connect to information when learning about a disability. Government. The Council wants to hear your thoughts.

The mission of the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma is to advance communities where everyone has the opportunity to live, learn, work, and play where they choose. The Council builds partnerships to change systems to improve services, resources, and supports for Oklahomans with developmental disabilities and their families. The Council promotes quality services and programs that enable persons with developmental disabilities to realize increased independence, productivity, and integration and inclusion in the community. The Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma is supported by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award with 100% funding by ACL/HHS. Grantees undertaking projects with government sponsorship are encouraged to express freely their findings and conclusions. Therefore, points of view or opinions do not necessarily represent official ACL policy and do not necessarily represent the official views of, nor an endorsement by, ACL/HHS or the U.S. Please note, comments, videos, and pictures posted to the DD Council social media pages may not be representative of the positions of the DD Council and we do not confirm the accuracy of any postings. PEAK Parent Center 's Project POWER is hosting a virtual listening session to learn from YOU what’s working, what’s challenging, and what could be better when accessing transition and related services.
They want to hear about experiences with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), Parent Centers, Centers for Independent Living, IEPs, schools, and other community programs. Your feedback will help identify ways services and supports can better meet the needs of young people with disabilities and their families.

Everyone gets to enjoy Fair food!! This year, at the Oklahoma State Fair there are gluten free corn dogs, deep fried Oreos, chicken strips, and funnel cakes there’s something delicious for everyone at the fair! This stand will be located on Gordon Cooper Blvd, across the street from the Pavilion.
Statement from Everybody Eats: We are not certified gluten free. We use dedicated fryers, no gluten items are sold at the stand, our employees have allergen training, we use gluten free ingredients, and our ingredient list is available at the stand upon request. We provide information so people with celiac can make an informed choice on what they eat. Hope you’ll be able to stop by!
