Oklahoma ACTE seeks to provide the kind of foresight and direction needed to develop a productive and competitive workforce for Oklahoma. The association is recognized as a dynamic educational leadership organization anticipating and fulfilling the professional needs of its members and their customers in developing a competitive workforce. To accomplish this mission, the association has refined a

variety of effective programs and strategies aimed at:
Advocating good workforce and education policy for Oklahomans. However, it would have a resounding impact if all members and their partners--business and industry and academic education participated together. Encouraging career development, professional involvement and leadership among our members. Fostering excellence in career and technology education by providing leadership opportunities and recognition. Educating our policymakers, education colleagues and administrators, parents, business and industry representatives, students and the public about the value of our programs.
