PSTD leadership attended the EPA Region 6 All-States Meeting in Dallas where they met with Region 6 and the Office of Underground Storage Tank (OUST) program officials along with other state representatives from Region 6 (AR, LA, NM, and TX). Discussions included successes and challenges of each state UST program in Compliance and Inspection, Corrective Actions, EPA Grants, and State Fund Assurance. Discussion with other state program officials included our UST and Brownfield programs setting the standard for collaboration with petroleum brownfield redevelopment and strategies; and how PSTD's database tracks and streamlines all phases of work from inspections, permitting, scheduling, licensing, management of release cases, and all costs and expenditures from start to finish. The EPA repeatedly highlighted Oklahoma’s program as among the best in the nation.
