Over the past two days, our team had the opportunity to learn from Jennifer, founder of SPARC - Stalking Prevention, Awareness & Resource Center, during our annual stalking training! 💙💚

This impactful training brought together Palomar staff and professionals in our community—including advocates, mental health and medical professionals, law enforcement, attorneys, and other victim service providers—to better understand the complexities of stalking, strengthen our response, and learn new tools to support survivor safety.

And a special thank you to Kelso Law Firm for sponsoring the CLE credits for professionals who participated in this training. We truly appreciate your support!

Durante los últimos dos días, nuestro equipo tuvo la oportunidad de aprender de Jennifer, fundadora de SPARC - Stalking Prevention, Awareness & Resource Center, durante nuestra capacitación anual sobre el acoso persistente (stalking). 💙💚

Esta capacitación fue una gran oportunidad para reunir al personal de Palomar y a profesionales de nuestra comunidad, incluyendo defensores, profesionales de la salud mental y médica, agentes del orden, abogados y otros proveedores de servicios para víctimas, para comprender mejor las complejidades del stalking, fortalecer nuestra respuesta y aprender nuevas herramientas para apoyar la seguridad de los sobrevivientes.

Join VOICES OKC for an evening of remembrance, solidarity, and hope at the Testimony Trail 🕯️✨

Led by survivors, VOICES OKC invites our community to come together, honor those impacted by domestic violence, and shine a light toward healing and change.

Wednesday, October 14 | 6:30 PM | Scissortail Park

Together, we’ll walk the purple-lit SkyDance Bridge by candlelight, honoring those whose voices have been silenced by domestic violence and recognizing the courage and resilience of survivors. Each candle we carry represents a voice, a story, and our shared commitment to a future where survivors are heard, supported, and believed.

We’ll gather at the South Garden Trellis, on the southeast side of Scissortail Park between Union Station and South Robinson Avenue.

Together, we remember. We honor. We walk toward healing and change. 💜 ✨

Liderado por personas sobrevivientes, VOICES OKC invita a nuestra comunidad a reunirse, honrar a quienes han sido afectados por la violencia doméstica y mantener viva la esperanza de un camino hacia la sanación y el cambio.

We recently welcomed the upcoming freshman class from Oklahoma City University for their OCU Stars Week service event! 💙⭐️ They spent their time sorting donations and cleaning our entire Direct Services floor. Their work made a real impac, and we’re so grateful they chose to serve with us!

Want to get your group involved? We host private group service events, and we also have bi-monthly service opportunities open to everyone! 💜✨

We recently kicked off the FOURTH year of the Palomar Teen Board with our annual retreat! 🤩 Our Teen Board came together to build leadership skills, learn more about Palomar, and prepare for the year ahead. A special highlight was “In Their Shoes,” an interactive activity led by Madison from YWCA Oklahoma City that helped students better understand the complex decisions survivors may face.

We’re looking forward to all that’s ahead for this group and can’t wait to watch them put their leadership into action throughout the year! 💜✨

WE DID IT! 🤩 Our community came together in a BIG way for Camp HOPE America - Palomar raising $14,592.20 this summer! ⚓️🌊✨ And the impact doesn’t end when camp does. These funds will support the year-round programming, mentoring, and opportunities that help our campers continue building confidence, connection, and hope long after their week at Camp HOPE.

To everyone who gave, shared, and helped make this possible: thank you for showing up for our campers and helping keep Camp HOPE anchored in hope 💜✨
