Independence Day is coming to Mid-Del!

Tomorrow, Friday, August 21, is the LAST DAY parents and guardians may walk their elementary students to class.

Then, on Monday, August 24, Independence Day begins! Our students will take a big step by walking to their classrooms independently, building confidence and responsibility along the way.

Don’t worry, our amazing staff will be throughout the building ready to welcome, supervise, and help students every step of the way.

We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our students! Thank you, families, for helping us encourage confident, independent learners.

Dear Cardinal Parents and Community,

I’m excited to share an update to our dismissal procedures. Parents picking up students will use the new dismissal route to help make afternoon pickup safer, smoother, and more efficient for everyone.

Please follow the new route and all directions from school staff during dismissal. For the safety of our students, we ask that parents remain in their vehicles and follow the designated pickup line.

Please allow a little extra time during the first few days as everyone becomes familiar with the new procedure.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued support as we work to provide a safe dismissal process for all of our Cardinals.
