We understand there are many questions about this tragic case. Because it involves a juvenile, Oklahoma law limits what information can be shared. With that said, we cannot confirm or deny any charges related to this case at this time.

This is a heartbreaking loss for a family and a difficult case for the community. Our thoughts are with everyone directly and indirectly affected by this tragedy.

The Edmond Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the September 9th shooting death of a 15-year-old male.

Just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10, investigators arrested the victim’s 11-year-old sister and transported her to a juvenile detention facility, where she was booked on a charge of second-degree murder.

We recognize this is a heartbreaking situation for the family involved. Our thoughts are with them as they grieve this tragedy.

Because this case involves juveniles, no additional identifying information will be released.

‼️MURDER SUSPECT BOUND OVER FOR TRIAL‼️

Aaron Henry, 25, was bound over by the Court to stand trial for the 2018 murder of Stephen Robertson. Police were called to the 4700 block of Clendon Way on October 26, 2018. There they found Robertson had been shot and killed. DNA was recovered from a fi***rm located at the scene. The DNA was loaded into CODIS and in 2020 a hit came back to Henry. Detectives were able to confirm Henry's DNA matched after collecting a swab from him.

Henry has been in federal custody in Texas on gun charges. He was brought back to Oklahoma County in January 2026 and booked into the detention center to face charges.

‼️MURDER SUSPECT BOUND OVER FOR TRIAL‼️

William Spencer, 19, was bound over by the Court for the murder of his brother in January 2026. The brothers were playing video games when they got into an argument. William got a knife and stabbed Nicholas, 25, multiple times. William called 9-1-1 and told operators he stabbed his brother and needed help to stop the bleeding. Nicholas died at the scene.

JURY CONVICTS OKLAHOMA CITY MAN OF 2024 HOMICIDE

September 8, 2026

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma County District Attorney Vicki Zemp Behenna announced today that a jury has convicted Kenneth Davis, 66, of the murder of Merle Southwick, 71, in 2024. After a four-day trial, the jury came back with a guilty verdict and recommended a sentence of life without the possibility of parole.

Police were called to the 6600 block of Shields Blvd. on August 2, 2024. Southwick’s brother arrived at Southwick’s home to pick him up for church. When Southwick didn’t answer his phone or the door, his brother crawled through an unlocked window and discovered Southwick’s body. He had been shot multiple times including through the back of his head ex*****on style.

After conducting multiple interviews, detectives named Davis, Southwick’s roommate, the suspect in his homicide. Davis fled the state after the murder and was picked up by U.S. Marshalls in Colorado. He was brought back to Oklahoma and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on November 14, 2024.

Davis’ formal sentencing will take place October 13, 2026.

DA Behenna would like to thank the jury for their time and thoughtful consideration during the trial, as well as the police who investigated this case and the prosecutors who prepared the case for trial.
