🚧 Great news! 🚧

We are thrilled to announce that the Meridian Avenue & Edmond Road roundabout will officially reopen tomorrow! 🎉

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding throughout construction. Your cooperation has helped us improve this intersection, making it safer and more efficient for everyone who travels through the area.

We look forward to welcoming drivers back tomorrow. Please continue to use caution as you navigate the new roundabout and watch for any remaining work crews in the area.

🚧 Project Update: Meridian & 178th (Edmond Road) Roundabout 🚧

Great news! The tin horns have been replaced, and the road is now ready for paving.

While recent storms caused a slight delay in the project, we’re excited to keep things moving forward.

✅ The roundabout reopened today to traffic and will remain open until Monday, July 6, when it will temporarily close again so crews can complete the paving.

🛣️ If all goes as planned, the roundabout is expected to reopen on Tuesday, July 7.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we complete these improvements. Thank you for bearing with us—we’re looking forward to delivering a smoother, safer intersection for everyone!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧
Beginning June 15, Westminster Road just north of Route 66 will be closed for approximately six months due to a bridge replacement project.
Message boards will be placed in the area today to help notify motorists of the upcoming closure and encourage drivers to begin planning alternate routes.
We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed to enhance roadway safety and infrastructure in the area.

This morning at the Board of County Commissioners meeting we officially launched the Oklahoma County Longevity Program! We were proud to recognize and celebrate employees with 5 to 35 years of dedicated service to Oklahoma County. Their commitment, hard work, and years of service are what keep our county moving forward every day. Thank you to each and every employee for your dedication to serving our community!

District 3 crews are hard at work on Anderson Road, grinding the old asphalt into the base as we prepare for stabilization work in the coming weeks. By reclaiming and reusing existing materials, we’re building a stronger roadway while maximizing taxpayer dollars. 🚧👷‍♂️

District 3 crews are hard at work on Anderson Road and Route 66 completing a full road rebuild with base stabilization. This major improvement project will create a stronger foundation, extend the life of the roadway, and provide a smoother, safer drive for the public. We’re proud of the dedication our crews bring every day as they continue investing in infrastructure that serves our community for years to come.
