The Morgan Township Board of Trustees have approved placing, on the November 4th ballot, a RENEWAL Fire Levy. This levy has been approved every 5 years since 2010. It WILL NOT raise your taxes as it is a RENEWAL. We ask that you support your Fire Department with approval of this levy.

The November election will include several levies. Once the ballot is certified the Auditor's levy calculator will be available to help property owners calculate the cost. For more information, click on the link in the comments.

Brief History of the EMS Levy in Morgan Township:
The EMS (Emergency Medical Service) Levy is used to provide 24-hour Ambulance / Emergency Medical Service to the Residents of Morgan Township

The current EMS Levy is on the ballot November 8th, 2022 for 5-year renewal. This renewal will not raise taxes and will remain at the 3.00 millage rate.

The current EMS Levy generates approximately $480,000.00 a year.
The Morgan Township Fire Department employs some of the most experienced and highly qualified employees in the Tri-State.
Our response times from time of dispatch to on-scene is an average of 5.19 minutes.

All employees are crossed-trained as both Firefighters and Paramedics or EMTs.

Morgan Township operates 2 Advanced Life Support Medic Vehicles and 1 Advanced Life Support Battalion / chase vehicle.
Daily staffing on duty 24/7 is a minimum of 3 personnel and a maximum of 4. A minimum of 1 Paramedic is on duty
This EMS Levy renewal is from January 2023 – December 2027
Taxes will not be raised.
