CASA Venango County, Pa CASA (court appointed special advocates) volunteers speak for abused and neglected children who have DID YOU KNOW?

Americans pay an estimated 6.1 billion
dollars a year in taxes to care for children in foster care.

* An estimated $4,400 in attorney fees, per case, is saved each year by assigning a CASA.
* Pennsylvania ranks fifth (5th) in the nation in the number of abused and neglected children.
* There are more then 21,000 children in foster care each day in the state of Pennsylvania.
* Currently, eighteen (20) CASA programs in PA serve nineteen (19) of (60) courts. 700+ PA CASA volunteers spent 65,000 hours in service for approximately 1,600 children state wide.
