It’s been a fun first week at OCASD Summer Camp! Students have been playing Gaga Ball, learning about fossils and doing their own cookie excavation along with making a fossil, learning new math games, and much more! It’s so nice to get all three elementary schools together in the summer!

The Oil City High School Food Pantry and Clothing Closet would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all the wonderful individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations that made donations during the 2025-2026 school year. Words cannot express our heartfelt appreciation for supporting our students during such a critical time. During the government shutdown, we were not sure how we were going to stay open. The next thing we knew, our shelves were full and so were our students. We greatly appreciate the community support and the support we received from around the country. It is great to be a part of such an amazing community!

Clarice Carlson has been named the 2026 Valedictorian for Oil City Area Senior High School. She is currently serving in ...

Clarice Carlson has been named the 2026 Valedictorian for Oil City Area Senior High School. She is currently serving in the United States Army Reserve as a public affairs and mass communications specialist. Following the completion of her basic training, Clarice plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh, where she will major in political science and international relations.

Steven Heise has been named the 2026 Salutatorian for the Oil City Area Senior High School. He plans to attend the Pennsylvania State University and earn a bachelor’s degree in data sciences. Steven hopes to work as a sports analyst for a professional football team.

Seventh St. Elementary students were honored this week!

Earning the Outstanding 4th Grade student award for this school year were Cameron Harry and Evelyn Smith!

Earning the Good Citizenship Award from Senator Hutchinson’s office was Adaline Denman-Guthrie and Greyson Grieff!

Congrats to these students and ALL the students at Seventh Street Elementary School and across the district! A well deserved summer vacation awaits you!
