The Lower Yough rose in the night.
By early morning, she crested at 14.6 feet — swollen with spring storms and mountain runoff, wild and beautiful.
No trips are running today — she’s above the 10-foot commercial cutoff, a force too fierce for most.
But a single boat slipped in at dawn, full of guides tracing the river’s new voice, learning her high water lines by feel and instinct.
It’s looking like a season of volume, velocity, and veneration.
We’re still booking trips for when she settles into her classic summer rhythm — and trust us, you’ll want a seat when she does. Call us 1-800-4RAFTIN Or visit our website www.laurelhighlands.com
Let the current teach us.
Let the river speak.
