Ogunquit Facilities and Space Needs Committee The Committee consists of 12 Ogunquit community volunteers.

The Facilities and Space Needs Committee was created earlier in 2021 to generate a plan to renovate, repurpose and/or build the Police Station, Community Center and Town Offices.

Do you still have questions about the Municipal Campus Project? Here are a few ways to get clarification:

1) Attend the information session this Thursday night June 1st at 6:30pm in the Dunaway Center
2) Visit the Facilities and Space Needs page on the Town of Ogunquit website:

There you will find a) a short video about the project and b) an updated (May 22nd) Municipal Campus Information Sheet which was designed to answer the following questions:

WHAT IS BEING PROPOSED?
WHY IS THIS BEING PROPOSED?
HOW DID WE GET HERE?
WHAT IS THE PROJECTED COST?
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME?
WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS IF THE PROJECT IS APPROVED ON JUNE 13TH?

From this week’s Town Manager Report:

“On Thursday, June 1 June 1, at 6:30 pm, we will host our final public information session on the Municipal Campus, presenting an overview of the proposal, discussing financials, and engaging in a Q&A session. After the meeting, staff can help calculate individual tax impacts based on your valuations. Snacks will be provided.”

The article reads:
"Shall the Town (1) vote to approve the project MUNICIPAL CAMPUS PROJECT (the "Project"); (2) appropriate a sum not to exceed $11,935,500 to provide for the costs of the Project; and (3) fund said appropriation, authorize the Treasurer and Chairperson of the Select Board to issue general obligation securities of the Town of Ogunquit, Maine (including temporary notes in anticipation of the sale thereof) in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $11,935,500 and (4) delegate to the Treasurer and the Chairperson of the Select Board the authority to fix the date(s), maturity(ies), interest rate(s), call(s) for redemption, refunding of said securities, place(s) of payment, form, and other details of said securities, including ex*****on and delivery of said securities on behalf of the Town of Ogunquit, and to provide for the sale thereof?"
