Kudos to the Oglethorpe Garden Club for putting together a fun and wonderful program. The stories, craft, planting, and snack were all great . Your hard work is so appreciated. We are grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the event's success.

June 10th – Ruth Eliers from GA College & State University will host Digging Into Dirt – Soils & Sediments – Oglethorpe Business Center
June 16th - Author Marsha Walk Carrol will present a Children's Writing Workshop – Oglethorpe Business Center
June 17th – Evan Dupree “Unearthing Our Story with Magic and Dinosaurs” – Oglethorpe Business Center
June 24th - Unearth a Musical Story with Mr. Lance Rodriguez – Oglethorpe Business Center
July 1st - We'll be celebrating America's 250th Birthday and our Summer Reading Float to the Finish. – Oglethorpe Business Center
July 8th - Mayor Daniels and the Macon Co. Girls Basketball Team will host a special Story Time – Oglethorpe Business Center
July 15th - Animal Tales - Fossils Alive: Dinosaurs Among Us – Oglethorpe Business Center
July 22nd - Fire Chief Owen Childs and the Oglethorpe Fire Department will provide the water fun for our last program of the summer. – Oglethorpe Business Center
***Please note that the first program on June 3rd will be at the Oglethorpe Public Library. All other programs with be at the Oglethorpe Business Center at 500 Sumter Street Oglethorpe, GA.

The summer reading program has kicked off and some of you are already logging minutes like it's your job! I'd love to see Macon County hit a million minutes read! Between the three libraries, I know we can do it! Read because it's awesome, read for swag, read because you have nothing better to do - all great reasons! This challenge is open to anyone with a pulse!
