We regret to announce the passing of exempt member, Firefighter Joe Mora.

Joe was a familiar face around the firehouse, always with a story about years past. Joe served the community proudly for many years, most recently serving as the department Chaplain. The department had the honor of having Joe as a Grand Marshal in 2012 when hosting the Sussex County Firemans Parade. Even after hanging up his coat and helmet, Joe and his wife Rosemary could be found at almost every department event throughout the years. His presence will be missed but the memories, stories and history shared will always be passed on to the next generation.

Rest easy Joe, we will take it from here.

🎅🏻The big guy will be traveling by fire truck. Look and listen for the music and sirens!
🎅🏼 Everyone is welcome to take pictures by our truck with Santa. Please have phones and cameras ready so we can stay on schedule!

Thank you Top Floor Tactics for presenting Lithium Ion Batteries today, great lecture with tons of useful information. Thanks to Sparta Township Fire Department Hardyston Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Andover Township Volunteer Fire Department for spending a few hours with us this morning training.
