We’re celebrating our 2nd annual Black Birders Week at Ogden Nature Center with FREE ADMISSION FOR ALL on Saturday, May 30th! 
 
We are honored to participate in this national week organized by The Black AF In STEM Collective who have been driving this initiative for the past 6 years.

There will be live birds of prey, guided bird walks, and a bird-themed craft. Come learn, wander, and celebrate access for all, in the outdoors with us! 🌳🖤

🌱 Help Restore Native Habitats at Ogden Nature Center! 🌱

Join us each week to make a hands‑on difference by removing invasive plant species from the property. Invasive weeds crowd out native plants and damage critical wildlife habitat—your help truly matters!

What to expect:
✔️ Working outdoors on uneven ground
✔️ Bending and pulling weeds for extended periods
✔️ A rewarding way to support nature conservation

What to bring & wear:
🧢 Hat & sun protection
👖 Pants & closed‑toe sturdy shoes
💧 Plenty of water (snacks encouraged!)
👥 Ages 16 and over
