A house becomes a home through compassion, care, and community. ❤️

We’re grateful and inspired by the incredible work of the Southern Utah Home Builders Association and the many volunteers and partners who came together to give our St. George teen shelter a meaningful makeover.

At Youth Futures, we've created a space that feels safe, welcoming, and truly like home for the unaccompanied and homeless youth who need it most.

Projects like this remind us what’s possible when a community rallies together to make a difference.

💚 Jessica found the words to tell her story. 💚 She sent us this message just last week in a text.

For every young person who writes back to say, “You changed my life,” there are others whose healing happens quietly.

A young person who sleeps safely for the first time in weeks.
A teen who finally exhales and drops his walls.
A student who graduates against all odds.
A scared and silent kid who learns they matter.
A young adult who never returns to homelessness.

Last Friday, our St. George shelter was filled with generosity, teamwork, and the sound of people making a difference.

We are deeply grateful to the Southern Utah Homebuilders Association for choosing Youth Futures as part of their annual SUHBA Day of Giving.

Through the efforts of 138 volunteers contributing 552 hours of service across Southern Utah, SUHBA supported local nonprofits throughout the region, and we were honored to be among them.

At Youth Futures, volunteers helped install new carpet in our living room and stairway, while also completing xeriscaping improvements to reduce water use and improve long-term maintenance.

These upgrades do more than improve a building. They help create a warm, welcoming, and dignified space for the young people who turn to us for safety and support.

To everyone who gave their time, labor, and resources: thank you for investing in better futures.
