I appreciated the opportunity to speak this morning at Weber State University's Supervisor Conference on Leading With Clarity.

Change is a constant in our work, and taking time to focus on steady, thoughtful leadership through it is always worthwhile.

Thank you for the invitation to participate in the conference.

Another incredible addition to Ogden’s public art. Projects like this continue to highlight the creativity and collaboration that make our community special.

Thank you to Jayden for the invitation, it was great to see this come to life. Looking forward to more in the future.

If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, I encourage you to visit the Ogden River Parkway tunnel overpass near 12th Street. This mural, created in collaboration with the GOAL Foundation, is well worth the stop.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we gather with loved ones this Memorial Day, let’s take a moment to reflect with gratitude for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

On behalf of Ogden City, thank you to all Gold Star families, veterans, and service members. We honor you today and always. 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, the Ogden City Council will continue reviewing Ogden City’s proposed FY2027 budget during a public work session focused on Police, Fire, and Public Services.

This year’s proposed budget reflects a continued focus on maintaining high-quality city services while operating responsibly and efficiently, without proposing a tax increase.

Residents will hear how departments are identifying internal efficiencies, leveraging grant funding, improving operations, and continuing to invest in public safety, infrastructure, parks, recreation, and community services across Ogden.

I encourage residents to follow along as we continue working through this year’s budget process.
