As a major call unfolded near the end of his shift, Joshua demonstrated remarkable composure under pressure, maintaining control of radio traffic, tracking fast‑changing details, and ensuring responding units had accurate, timely information.
He quickly adapted to evolving circumstances, updated the call type within seconds, coordinated medical response, and delegated additional unit requests — all while managing a highly complex, emotionally intense situation involving multiple agencies.
Even after his shift ended, Joshua volunteered to stay and continue supporting the field until the scene stabilized.
