Find a friend and a purpose with the AmeriCorps Seniors Senior Companion Program!

Meet with other seniors in your area that are homebound and help them keep their independence by volunteering in their homes.

Volunteering with us gives back to you, too! Earn a small, non-taxable stipend for your service that won't affect disability eligibility, as well as travel reimbursement.

Senior centers are community-based centers where seniors can socialize and access service programs such as congregate meals, nutrition/health screenings, exercise, recreation, and education. We are excited about the upcoming Stepping On (fall prevention) workshop. This really is such a fantastic workshop! Seniors at previous workshops have attended nearly every session and speak very highly of their experience! The workshop covers a variety of factors that can lead to a fall; things like medications, vision, shoes, pets, home safety, etc. We bring in a guest speaker to nearly every session.

This is a free workshop and will be held at the North Ogden Senior Center starting Aug. 11th 1-3pm
