🎨✨ ARTIST OF THE WEEK — JASMINE M.! ✨🎨

Congratulations to Jasmine M., 8th grade, our first featured Artist of the Week for this exciting new art unit! 💙🐏

This week, students are beginning the IB MYP unit “My Story, My Agamograph,” exploring how art can communicate identity and perspective. Inspired by the kinetic art of Yaacov Agam, students will discover how artists can manipulate visual elements to create artwork that changes depending on the viewer’s perspective. 👀🖼️

Throughout the unit, students will use communication, creative thinking, and reflection as they experiment with materials, develop original ideas, and tell their own stories through art.

We’re excited to spotlight Jasmine as our Artist of the Week and to see how our Rams bring their own identities and perspectives to life! 🎨🌟

Sometimes all it takes is looking at something from a different perspective to see possibilities you hadn’t discovered YET! 💙

🎉🐏 CLUB NIGHT IS COMING TO MOJH! 🐏🎉

Looking for a way to get involved, meet new people, or try something new? Club Night begins Wednesday, September 9, from 3:15–4:15 PM and will continue every Wednesday! 💙

There’s already something for almost everyone—and we’re just getting started!

🚌 TRANSPORTATION: A bus will be available at 4:15 PM for students who normally ride the bus home. Students who do not normally ride the bus will need to arrange their own transportation or walk home.

💛🤝 HOPE SQUAD BRINGS THE CONNECTION! 🤝💛

One of our favorite parts of the Opening Assembly was seeing our MOJH HOPE Squad helping Rams connect with one another! 🐏💙

HOPE Squad came prepared with posters and activities that encouraged students to find common interests, meet someone new, and remember that there are people all around them who may have more in common with them than they realize. 🫶✨

A new school year can mean new classes, new teachers, and new friendships. Maybe you haven’t found your people YET—keep saying hello, getting involved, and giving others a chance. 💛

🐏💙 RAM PRIDE WAS LOUD & PROUD! 💙🐏

Our Opening Assembly gave us another reason to love being a Ram! 🎉 From the cheers 📣 and karaoke 🎤 to HOPE Squad helping students connect 🤝 and our new teachers showing off their push-up skills 💪, there were smiles everywhere!

We love seeing our students and staff come together, have a little fun, and build the kind of school community where everyone belongs. 💙🤍

Thanks to Ms. Walker, our SBOs, HOPE Squad, teachers, and students for bringing the energy! ⚡️🐏

We’ve got a whole school year ahead of us, and there are so many great memories we haven’t made YET! ✨

🎉🐏 WHAT A WAY TO KICK OFF THE YEAR, RAMS! 🐏🎉

Our Opening Assembly was packed with energy, laughter, school spirit, and plenty of Ram Pride! 💙🤍 A HUGE shoutout to Ms. Walker and our SBOs for leading the way and getting everyone excited for the year ahead!

📣 MOJH brought the CHEER!
💛 HOPE Squad helped students make connections with fun posters and activities.
🎤 We had karaoke!
😂 And our new teachers experienced a little “hazing”… we mean WELCOME-TO-MOJH FUN with a push-up contest! 💪🤣

Congratulations to our finishers Mr. Thomas, Mr. Serr, and Mr. Buck, who each powered through MORE THAN 50 PUSH-UPS! 😳💪 UGH—that’s a TON!

What a fun way to remind us that MOJH is more than a school—we’re a community. Maybe you haven’t found your people or your place YET, but we’re just getting started! 💙🐏
