Symposium 2020 Information
Virtual/Online Symposium
Important Dates:
April 3, 2020 – All Presentation Materials Due
April 13, 2020 – Virtual Symposium Goes Live! 11AM-3PM
*If you are a presenter, please try to make yourself available throughout the day to participate in discussions and answer questions others might have about your project.

Who is invited: Everyone! This site is open to WSU students, public, family, and friends. Our hope is that this platform will promote discussions and give students an opportunity to engage in the dissemination of their research, scholarly, and creative endeavors during these unusual circumstances.
Oral Session:
Oral presentations are limited to 12 minutes in length. Students are asked to follow the attached tutorial to create a recorded presentation over PowerPoint slides. Please send files to [email protected] by April 3 subject line: Symposium Oral. If your file is too large and you need to send it via a link to Drive, please be sure to share this file with [email protected] and [email protected]
Poster Session:
Posters will be displayed on the website along with the abstracts students submitted. Comments will be enabled to promote discussions and questions. Please check back throughout the day to address any posted questions. Please send posters to [email protected] by April 3 subject line: Symposium Poster.
Performing Arts Session:
Performing Arts Presentations are limited to 12. Please email a recording of your performance to [email protected] by April 3 subject line: Symposium Performance. Text can also be included as an explanation or introduction to your creative process.
Outstanding Student and Mentor Award Recipients will be contacted via email and posted on the website on April 13th!
