A mild winter season, like we saw this last year in Utah, can easily disrupt the normal migration patterns of bats, and also prevents the usual freezes that kill off insects like ticks and mosquitoes each winter.
This means that we are seeing many insects and bats earlier in the year than usual and we may see them in higher numbers from having a longer survival season.
There are easy steps that you can follow to protect you and your family, from exposure to these crawly, flying summer friends and prevent illnesses that they can spread through bites or exposure to people.
