DaVinci Academy was the brainchild of a coalition of business, science, education, and community leaders early in 2003. The concept of creating a high school in downtown Ogden that provided the knowledge and skills students needed in the 21st century w

as compelling for many. After months of work, DaVinci Academy was chartered by the Utah State Board of Education and opened its doors in August 2004 with the mission of integrating science and the arts after the example of the original Renaissance man, Leonardo da Vinci. Naturally this progressed into a college ready, project-based curriculum that addresses the needs of the whole child.

🎭✨ MEET OUR NEW THEATRE TEACHER! ✨🎭

Please join us in welcoming Miss Cassidy to DaVinci Academy! We are so excited to have her joining our school as our new Theatre Teacher!

Before coming to DaVinci, Miss Cassidy taught theatre classes, private voice and acting lessons, children’s theatre camps, and directed productions ranging from youth theatre to mainstage productions. Some of her favorite directing and choreography credits include Hadestown: Teen Edition, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Bright Star: School Edition.

She has also spent many years performing in productions across Utah in a variety of roles.

Miss Cassidy hopes Room 123 becomes a place where students feel seen, challenged, and encouraged to be themselves. ❤️ She believes theatre isn’t just about putting on great shows—it’s about working together, building confidence, discovering your creativity, and making lifelong friendships.

🎭 She’s excited and ready to create some theatre magic this year!

Welcome Back to School Dragons!!! We can't wait to see all of our amazing students tomorrow at our onsite campuses. Reminder parents school starts at 8:00 a.m. for the secondary students and 8:15 a.m. for Elementary students. Tomorrow is an early release so Secondary is out at 12:35 p.m. and Elementary is out at 12:45 p.m.
