Hello and Happy Monday, Odyssey Families!

We hope your family had a restful Labor Day weekend! As we head into our third week of school, it’s the perfect time to lock in strong daily routines and keep our learning momentum going.

Consistent attendance is one of the biggest drivers of student success. When Explorers arrive on time every day, they don't just stay on track with reading and math—they build confidence, strengthen friendships, and develop reliable habits that serve them for a lifetime.

Weekly Attendance Goals & Friday Spirit Days!
Our goal every week is to hit a 90% or higher schoolwide attendance average. Last week, our attendance dropped a bit to 87%, so let's all work together to get those numbers back up this week!

Plus, there's a fun reward on the line: the class with the highest attendance each week gets to pick our Friday Spirit Day theme! 🥳

Tips for Daily Success:

Set a Consistent Bedtime: A predictable night routine makes morning drop-offs much smoother.

Prep the Night Before: Lay out backpacks, clothes, and water bottles ahead of time.

Aim for On-Time Arrival: Arriving a few minutes early helps kids settle in and start the day without feeling rushed.

Our students loved hearing all about the importance of setting big goals and putting in the hard work to reach them. Getting to learn about real-world pitching speeds was definitely a highlight—to say our Explorers were impressed is an understatement! ⚡️

: Big learning starts with strong connections! 💡✨

Here’s our takeaway for Wednesday: kids do best when families and teachers team up!

Our awesome Kindergarten team hosted a super fun Family Night last night to do just that. Parents got to hang out and pick up easy tips on what their little ones are learning—and how to help out at home.

Meanwhile, the kindergartners (and their brothers and sisters!) had a blast getting crafty with a hands-on art project that built up those fine motor skills.

Huge shoutout to our incredible Kindergarten team for putting this together, and a massive thank-you to all the amazing families who came out!

🏆 Back-to-Back Champions! 🏆

Huge congratulations to Miss Rodriguez’s 5th grade class for winning our Attendance Challenge for the second week in a row! They pulled off an incredible 98.5% average attendance last week!

Because of their impressive streak, they earned the right to pick this week’s Spirit Day theme, and they’ve officially declared it Sports Day! 🏈⚽🏀

What to wear: Grab your favorite team jerseys, hats, or sports gear to show off your favorite team or sport!
