Odyssey Elementary is highly respected by its community members as a neighborhood school that creates a safe haven for both students and parents to learn. Empowering their students to be growth minded, Odyssey faculty strive to establish engaging environments that promote analytical skills to create intrinsically motivated learners through a safe, happy, nurturing environment while addressing the

academic, social, and emotional well-being of each individual student. Odyssey Visible learners are Self-Aware, Think and are Reflective, Ask Questions and Wonder, Make Connections, and are Determined. Programs offered at Odyssey Elementary include: Boys and Girls Club afterschool program, Art Club, Archery, Girls Who Code, and Lego League.

We got to celebrate one last group of MAGICAL ATTENDERS on our last day of school— each of these Explorers had perfect attendance for the last week and were able to pick a magical attendance incentive 🐉 as a reward!

We loved celebrating so many Excellent Explorers in our end of year awards assemblies today! These pictures are from each of our grade level assemblies. Each teacher got to select a Math, ELA, and Science student of the year, as well as their Boy and Girl student of the year. We also celebrated our Highly Skilled Readers from Acadience testing, our 99% attenders, our STEAM challenge winners, and students who passed the WIDA test. What a great day of celebrating!

We’re so grateful to our friends from the Kiwanis Club for allowing us to celebrate some of our outstanding 6th graders with the Hope of America award, which is for outstanding citizenship and character. The five students recognized today are exceptional students and leaders in our school community, and we’re so proud of them!

Good evening, Odyssey families!

This is a quick reminder about our Rise and Read family breakfast tomorrow morning from 7:45 to 8:15 AM. We would love for you to join us for a light breakfast and a special opportunity to read with your student before the school day begins!

🎩 Spirit Day: Tomorrow is also "Hats off to summer vacation" day! We look forward to seeing everyone wearing their favorite hat.

✨ Special Perks: Every student who attends will get to pick out a book of their choice to take home, along with a summer learning kit!

👥 Guest Guidelines: To ensure we have enough space for everyone, each student may bring a maximum of 2 adults. Younger siblings are absolutely welcome to join, provided they are in a stroller or closely managed by an adult.

🚗 Parking Note: If you are joining us, please ensure you park in an official parking space. We need to keep the drop-off lane clear for normal morning traffic.

We have a few more graduates to celebrate!! We’re so excited for our social work interns Miss Harleigh, Miss Zoe, and Miss Kayla for graduating from Weber State University, University of Utah, and Utah State University with their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work! These ladies have been an integral part of our wellness team this year, and we’re so proud of them and grateful for all they do to support students, staff, and families! Happy Graduation! 🧑‍🎓

Monday means we get to celebrate another group of students for their MAGICAL ATTENDANCE! These students all had 100% attendance last week and were entered into a drawing for a magical attendance incentive! 🐉

We will do one more drawing on the last day of school, so make sure you’re at school on time each day this week to be eligible!
