This is a special day dedicated to courage, strength and all men who make the world a better place every day without stopping, look after their families and loved ones, and make them happy.
Some believe that men tend to age less gracefully because aging is a threat to their masculine vitality, strength and ego. It seems that most women handle aging in a much more graceful way, and maybe that is why they tend to live longer.

Use Less Stuff Day was created to spread awareness about the clutter of unnecessary things in our homes.
As people age, they often have accumulated decades worth of items. Decluttering a lifetime of belongings will almost always be difficult for seniors.
What are the common reasons for seniors to declutter?
⭐️ Needing more space - Sometimes facing health issues can make stairs difficult to go up and down or remodeling house to assist with mobility.
⭐️ Downsizing - Moving to a smaller house driven by retirement, financial situation or having children moved out of the house.
⭐️ Moving to assisted living community - Due to limited space in facility you will only need to bring personal belongings and some small furniture, such as coffee tables, nightstands, etc.
⭐️ Death of a loved one - Letting go of the items that remind you of your partner can make you experience feelings of deep sadness and grief. At the same time, removing emotional attachments from your life can make it easier to start fresh.

Bread is full of symbolism around the world, across cultures and religions. In our lives, bread is valuable. It is a staple food for most households in America. Nothing can compete with the rich smell and flavor of freshly baked bread. We are making it, breaking it, consuming it as part of our faith.
No matter its form, homemade bread is absolutely delicious and deserves to be celebrated!

The beautiful, crusty and fluffy texture combine with the sweet, roasty comfort smell that lingers in the kitchen bring us together around the table for thousands of years.
Many of us struggle with diet and eating habits. Bread seems to be essential to our diet. Even if you’re avoiding gluten, and the traditional wheat bread, you can find plenty of recipes to try and keep this savory food in your life. Older adults are especially vulnerable to malnutrition, and many of the diseases they suffer are direct results of dietary factors. An average slice of packaged bread contains 1 gram of fat and 75 to 80 calories. The primary nutrient in bread are Carbohydrates, they provide the body with fuel. Bread also contains high levels of B vitamins, calcium, protein and iron.
Interesting facts:
- the longest loaf of bread ever baked was 1.2 km long,
- sliced bread was only invented in 1928,
- combine needs 9 minutes to harvest enough wheat to make about 70 loaves of bread.

Studies have revealed that elderly adults with more social relationships tend to live longer than those who were more isolated, regardless of the person’s socioeconomic status–whether they smoke or drank, were obese, or exercised or not. Connecting with others relieves harmful levels of stress, which can damage coronary arteries, gut function, insulin regulation, and the immune system.
