(S)MSgt Heald joins us from the US Air Forces Europe and Africa Band at Ramstein Air Base in Germany. However, his very first assignment was right here at Offutt, bringing his career full circle after 14 years away.

🏆 AWARD SEASON 🏆

Congratulations to not one, but TWO of our Airmen for winning big this quarter! SrA Kamminga won not only Musician of the Quarter in the unit, but Airman of the Quarter at the ACC PA level, beating out hundreds of other junior enlisted Airmen for this award.

We also recognized SrA Johnson for being selected to commission in the US Space Force! Band members commissioning into other branches is extremely rare, and is a testament to the hard work SrA Johnson has put in throughout his career. He was presented his gold bars by Lt. Simmel, a prior enlisted Airman himself.

A huge thank you to Raptor from the USAF Heartland of America Band for putting on an awesome performance for our kids last week. We appreciate you sharing your time and talent, plus bringing some live music and plenty of energy to the afternoon. 🎶

After a great first concert in Nebraska City, Offutt Brass took to the road, performing three more excellent concerts in Glenwood, Papillion, and Grinnell to packed audiences! After each concert, audience members came up to thank the members and share their own stories of service. Now back at Offutt, Offutt Brass is inspired and motivated to make more great music for all of you!
