🛍️Ready to shop the OFFUTT MAKERS MARKET this weekend? Here are some things to know before you go:

⏰ 10am – 4pm
📍 Offutt Event Center
🎟️ FREE admission

✅Shop over 50 vendors offering a variety of locally made items including crafts, woodwork, knitting, baked goods, and more!

💲Some vendors may only take cash or credit. Be prepared to make your purchases.

🔥See live glassblowing demonstrations from Crystal Forge.

🍍🥂Hawaiian Brothers will be on site for food purchases. The Raiders Lounge mobile bar will be open for drink purchases, including mimosas.

Open to all DoD IDs. Guests are welcome and must be escorted on base with someone with a valid ID. Guests require a visitor pass or will need to be screened at the gate.

Offutt Outdoor Rec is rolling out back-to-back outdoor adventures! Whether you want to paddle the river or reel in trophy walleye.

🎣 South Dakota Walleye Fishing Trip (April 24–25)

Travel to Platte, South Dakota for a guided fishing experience. Lodging, transportation, gear, meals, and fish cleaning included. Fish all day Saturday on the Missouri River. SD fishing license not included.

ONLY $500 for Active Duty, Retirees, and Vets with base access.

🌊 Buffalo River Canoe Trip (May 7–10)

Cabins, camping, and 10 miles of floating the scenic Buffalo River in Arkansas. Transportation, lodging, meals, and gear included.

💜 Honoring Nebraska’s Military Kids 💜

Earlier this week at the Nebraska State Capitol, Governor Jim Pillen signed a proclamation officially designating April as the Month of the Military Child, recognizing the commitment, resilience, and unwavering support of military children across the state.

A military family stood proudly alongside distinguished guests, including Major General Strong of the Nebraska National Guard and his team, Colonel Gray, Chief Small, Dr. Rippe (Bellevue Superintendent), and Dr. Rikli (PLVCS Superintendent). Thanks to the Offutt School Liaison Officers, Jenni Miller & Tina Luderman for highlighting the strong community support behind military youth.
